Blessing And Imposing The Scapular

V- Show us, Oh Lord, Your Mercy

R- And grant us your salvation

V- O Lord, hear my prayer

R- And let my cry come to you

V- The Lord be with you

R- And also with you

Let Us Pray: O Lord Jesus Christ, Savior of mankind, by your right hand sanctity and this scapular which your servant will devotedly wear for the love of your and your mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mount Carmel. By her intercession, may he/she be protected from the wickedness of the enemy and persevere in your grace until death. You who loves and reign forever and ever

R- Amen

(When the priest sprinkles the scapular with holy water and imposes it upon the person or upon each person)

Saying: Receive this blessed scapular and ask the most holy Virgin that, by merits, it maybe worn with no stain of sin and may protect you from all harm and bring you into everlasting life.

R- Amen

By the power granted me, I admit you the participation of all the spiritual good works, which through the gracious help of Jesus Christ are performed by the Religious of Mount Carmel. In the name of the father and of the son, and the holy spirit. Amen

May the creator of heaven and earth, Almighty God, Bless you, who has deigned to unite you to the Confraternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, we beg her, in the hour of your death, to crush the head of the old serpent, so that you may, in the end, win the everlasting palm and crown of the heavenly inheritance.
